Second year student, Isabella Slattery, recently participated in the Quality of Life: Towards a Better Society Conference, held in Innsbruck, Austria.
The purpose of this conference was to go and hear scholars present their research findings on quality of life, well-being and happiness, as well as to discuss the relevance for policy making and see how this could benefit her own PhD research. International scholars from many disciplines, with different methodological and theoretical perspectives and following different approaches met with one common goal: generating research based knowledge to contribute to the well-being in societies.
