Student Presentation at Valuing Nature Annual Conference

Posted on January 29, 2018

Third year PhD student Corinne Muir was selected to present a poster at the Valuing Nature Annual Conference in Edinburgh, detailing her research on urban parks. The poster was titled, "Are management practices supporting ecosystem services and amenity in urban parks and greenspace?".

The conference attracted a wide range of delegates from academia, environmental organisations, and government bodies. Corinne says, "As well as attending many interesting talks and discussions on ecosystem services, I had many interesting conversations with other delegates during the poster sessions and evening reception. Attendance at this conference supported my research through useful networking, as well as the knowledge gained."
